According to reports in Italy, Paul Pogba has agreed to return from Manchester United to Juventus this summer.
The Frenchman made the switch from the Allianz Stadium to Old Trafford back in 2016 for a fee of around €100 million world record at the time. United, led by Jose Mourinho, saw enough quality and leadership in Pogba to spark their return to elite, not just in England, but in Europe as well. However, it hasn t worked out that way. United have failed to compete for either the Premier League title or the Champions League in the three years that followed, and Pogba seems prepared to jump ship.
Juventus, on the other hand, having established complete domination in the Serie A, aim to win the Champions League and they re doing whatever they feel will get them there. They signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid last summer, and now, according to Corriere dello Sport, they ve agreed terms with the World Cup winner to return as well.
